Connie’s upbringing instilled the value and power of observing, listening and communicating, leading to a life-long passion for marketing research. This began with a Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of British Columbia and continues today, after she has already achieved the Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP) designation from the Marketing Research & Intelligence Association. This is supplemented by a marketing research career spanning over 25 years. Her experience and expertise covers a broad range of industries, in both the public and private sectors and on local and national scales. Prior to co-founding Cohesium Research Ltd., Connie managed the Vancouver office of Pollara Strategic Insights for over 15 years. She also worked at Decima Research (now Harris/Decima), Mendon Associates and Canadian Facts (now TNS Canada). Connie is now focused on growing Cohesium through helping organizations succeed and prosper.
Away from the office, Connie’s other passion is travelling with her family and this has brought them to many destinations around the world, including the rest of Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. As well, to counterbalance her love of good food, Connie keeps active through spinning, Zumba and Kundalini yoga classes. And despite herself, she also follows the successes and agonizes over the trials and tribulations of her beloved BC Lions and Vancouver Canucks.
